Thanks for your interest in learning more about me. I currently live in Gunnison, Colorado, near Crested Butte, and I build web sites and market them on the Internet. It's strange how we end up in certain careers... Internet Marketing is not what I would have dreamed of doing, but it turns out I enjoy it greatly.
Here's a short recap of my professional career:
10 years- School of life:
Adventure Sports Trip Leader in AK, CO, AZ, WV, and New Zealand. My specialties included leading groups on multi-day excursions on class I - V rivers
6 years - Crested Butte Nordic Center:
Trails Coordinator in Crested Butte Colorado. My duties included grooming over 40 Kilometers of Cross Country ski track with snow mobiles and snowcats, management of the trails crew, race course development and design, as well as coordination with land owners and trail easements.
3 years- Western State College:
I earned a Marketing Degree in Gunnison to expand on my extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Graduated Magna Cum Laude.
6 years- Marketing Coordinator & Web Master:
Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association Marketing Coordinator and Web master. Duties included web master of www.GunnisonCrestedButte.com, a 2500 page vacation planning web site and other micro sites, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), email marketing, interactive advertising and creative design, book keeping, Marketing Partner coordination, tour specialist, statistics, and website and advertising measurement.
4 years- Freelance Web Designer and Marketing Consultant:
I run Midnight Marketing Solutions for a variety of clients who have hired me to develop rack brochures, web site management and design, SEO, SEM, and other Internet related marketing.
